Block storage unity in the ledger, contains transactions and is cryptographically signed by its creator

Entity
legal individual or organisation

Ledger
digital register in which blocks are stored, ofter used interchangeably with blockchain

Members
entities that participate in the consortium

Node server that runs the blockchain protocol

User
individual or organisation that interacts with a software application, an online service or a platform, a node

Validator
a node that participates in the consensus protocol, i.e. may create blocks
